Brightcove has announced the launch of Prism, a complete redesign of its platform interface and “the most visible evolution of Brightcove’s product experience in years.”

Brightcove is used across more than 230 countries by broadcasters, sports organisations, digital publishers and global enterprises. Prism “brings the platform experience to the same standard as its video technology operating behind the scenes, delivering greater clarity, consistency and usability across the entire video platform.”

Prism was developed following a full audit of the platform interface and co-created in close collaboration with more than 100 Brightcove customers.

Prism introduces a “sleek, modern visual language” while preserving the tools and workflows “customers rely on every day. The outcome is a smoother, more intuitive and more consistent experience across the entire platform.”

“Brightcove customers run complex and demanding video operations,” explains Facundo Alvarez Morales, Product Lead at Brightcove. “With Prism, we set out to raise the bar on the platform experience itself, working alongside our customers to make it faster, clearer and more intuitive, while preserving the workflows they trust. This launch marks a major step forward for the Brightcove platform.”

Over the past 12 months, the company has delivered more than 20 major platform enhancements, including Live 4K streaming, SSAI with DRM, vertical video support, animated thumbnails and a new AI Suite.

Additional enhancements, including live captions, contextual advertising and further platform improvements, are already in development, with more planned throughout 2026.
