BBC Creative, the BBC’s in-house creative agency, has produced new trails that celebrate women in sport and promote two of the biggest sporting events of this summer on the BBC – Wimbledon and UEFA Women’s Euro 2022.

The Euros trail invites viewers to get acquainted with the stars of women’s football including Ellen White, Lineth Beerensteyn and Rachel Furness. From Ellen White’s unmatched score tally to Ada Hegerberg’s powerful return to the sport, the film uses surreal set-pieces to bring to life the narratives of these world-class athletes.

The Wimbledon 2022 trail celebrates the achievements of female tennis players at Wimbledon through the years and features household names, from Billie-Jean King and Martina Hingis to Emma Raducanu and the Williams’ sisters.

The clips are a part of We Know Our Place marketing campaign, running across the BBC’s linear TV channels, BBC iPlayer, radio, social media and Out-of-Home advertising this summer.

BBC’s coverage of Wimbledon 2022 starts on Monday 27 June across BBC One, BBC Two and iPlayer.

Women’s Euros will be shown across BBC TV and iPlayer from 6 July.
