Glasgow’s Arteus Post Production has appointed Baselight Colourist, Tom Cairns to its Glasgow team.

Previously at Molinare, Twickenham Studios and Dirty Looks, Cairns has worked on projects for the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, along with Paramount, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Discovery Plus, and many others.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to be joining the team here in Glasgow.  Arteus has a very impressive pedigree and I’m really looking forward to working on some of the exciting new projects we have lined up over the next few months.  Having spent my entire career in London, I’m looking forward to developing a name for myself in Scotland and helping shape the reputation of this region,” commented Tom Cairns.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tom to team.  He’s a great talent with a very strong reputation having worked on some fantastic productions.  We’re seeing a marked increase in demand from our clients for new projects, particularly for Baselight grading and Tom will be a huge asset as we grow the business next year,” commented Ian Ballantyne, Senior Colourist and Director at Arteus Post Production.

Cairns learnt his craft assisting on projects including ‘Ex Machina’, ‘The Crown’, ‘Brooklyn’ and ‘Sherlock’.
