With more than 20 years’ experience working on some of the most successful entertainment and reality shows on TV, Broadbent has executive produced four seasons of The Apprentice and prior to that he was series editor on the hit BBC one show for Naked (a Fremantle label).

The appointment follows recent Naked hires head of Factual Entertainment James Lessell, head of Formats Cam de la Huerta and head of Production Karen Knowles.

Fatima Salaria, md, Naked, said: “Paul has been integral to the long running success of The Apprentice and under his leadership the show has gone from strength to strength making it BBC One’s number one unscripted show of the year for young adults. His experience in the entertainment field makes him the perfect person for this role.”

Paul Broadbent added: “Naked has an enviable mix of established hits and new formats and I’m really looking forward to working with the team to develop and produce the next generation of entertainment shows.”
