Sister Group’s After Party Studios, has hired Connor Suckling as Executive Producer.

He joins After Party Studios from Head of Originals roles at both Arcade and News UK, where he led on content development and branded content deals, having previously spent four years at LadBible Group as Lead Creative Producer for LADbible Originals across SPORTbible and YouTube-first original programming.

Prior to that he led Sky Sports’ darts coverage, and produced digital content for the 2018 World Cup, Premier League Productions, Tottenham Hotspur and Goal. He will report in to Dave Horner, Head of Sport at After Party Studios.

His appointment follows  the digital-first studio’s work on Inside Neymar Jr’s World; the global Red Bull x Neymar Jr docuseries that captured the moment footballing icon Neymar Jr made Brazil’s World Cup squad, now viewed over half a billion times; Race To The Top charting KSI’s takeover of Dagenham & Redbridge FC and Sky Sports’ matchday series SCENES, which kicked off its fourth season this weekend.

Dave Horner, Head of Sport at After Party Studios, says: “Connor joining the team is a real statement of intent from us here at After Party Studios, proof that we’re doubling down on the vast opportunities in the Sports Ents space ahead of us. His expertise will allow us to continue delivering great work with brands like Red Bull, Sky Bet, Sky Sports and more, using Connor’s experience from all pockets across the sports landscape – including club and federation level, broadcaster and publisher – to deliver more across our expanding slate.”

Connor Suckling, Executive Producer at After Party Studios, says: “After Party Studios has built an industry-leading reputation I’ve admired from afar and I could not be happier to be joining the team. I’ve worked in most corners of the sports landscape and it’s rare to find a studio operating at that level across club, federation, branded and digital.  What excites me most is bringing all of that together in one place, knowing the ambitions they have.”

Other recent work from the sports division includes the viral spoof creator takeover of the Soccer Saturday studio for Sky Sports, award-winning Sky Bet x EFL digital series League of ’72;  and the expansion of its  Team Talk podcast series as well as new YouTube series If I Speak for Sky Bet.
