Factual superindie Zinc Media Group has announced its best revenues for ten years according to its annual results for 2022 published today.
Overall revenues hit £30.1m. Organic revenues were up 39% year on year, with the Group confirming a strong EBITDA profit performance of £0.7m during the second half of the year, along with the acquisition of The Edge Picture Company, announced in August.
Zinc’s new businesses growing by 97% year on year, to nearly £9 million in the year (these new businesses launched since 2020 include: Red Sauce, Supercollider, Rex, Bumblebee Post and three new businesses in Zinc Communicate)
Zinc’s established businesses (Brook Lapping, Tern TV and ZC Publishing) grew 20% in the year with revenues in the second half of the year increasing by 83% year-on-year to £19.2m.
