Molinare has hired ex Pinewood Picture Services head, Darren Woolfson, as Director of Technology & Visual Services.
Woolfson has 30 years experience as a technical expert in the film and TV business. He started his career at Complete Video in Covent Garden and, in 1990, joined Molinare as Technical Director where he played a key role in the management buyout of the business in 2003 and its rejuvenation.
In 2007 he left Molinare to join the senior management team at Pinewood Studios in the role of Director of Technology to support Pinewood’s growth plans. During this time he managed and oversaw all aspects of technology associated with Feature Film, TV and Games production and post-production and latterly also ran the Group’s Picture Services division in the UK and across the Group’s international studios.
