The winners of the 2016 Televisual Bulldog Awards will be heading to the annual winners’ dinner at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden tonight.

The ‘Best in Show’ prize will also be awarded at the celebratory event to the programme that garnered the most votes overall.

Big winners this time include Company Pictures’ Wolf Hall, which picked up both the Best Cinematography and Best Editing awards. The show missed out on the Best Drama One Off or Serial prize though with Drama Republic’s Doctor Foster taking the top spot. Kudos’ Humans gained most votes in the Drama Series category and Avalon’s Catastrophe was named Best Comedy.

In the entertainment categories, both The Graham Norton Show and Strictly were winners. The BBC’s Wimbledon coverage and its Glastonbury output won in the live categories.

Drama indie Kudos was again voted best indie.

Other winners include Love Productions’ Great British Bake Off, Studio Lambert’s Gogglebox, Postcard Productions’ The Stranger on the Bridge and The Garden’s 24 Hours in Police Custody.

The full list of winners can be seen here

The Televisual Bulldog Awards are voted for by the readers of Televisual Magazine and pick out the best UK programmes and indies of the previous year.
