This is the opening title sequence for Apple TV+’s new series Your Friends & Neighbors.

Series creator Jonathan Tropper tapped Framestore director John Likens to craft a title sequence that visualises a man’s life slowly unraveling.

Likens leaned into themes of self-destruction and the decay of materialistic property the ultra-rich surround themselves with. Realized through a two-day live-action shoot with Jon Hamm, full VFX and CG, and custom animation techniques developed with FX Supervisor Tomas Slancik, the sequence captures the elegant collapse of a curated life. It marks Likens’ third collaboration with Tropper and producer Chris Arruda, following SEE and the Emmy-nominated WARRIOR.
