Rental house Video Europe has placed an order with Sony for 20 of its newly announced PXW-FX9 camcorders as well as ten PXW-Z750 4K camcorders.

"Not only are the PXW-FX9 and the PXW-Z750 impressive pieces of technology, they also offer all the key features and capabilities that are so critical to our customers. From the Z750 with its high portability and 4K sensor with global shutter technology, to the FX9 with its high versatility and 6K Full-Frame sensor. The new cameras are the perfect additions to our existing portfolio of Sony products, and we are excited to be one of the first to place an order for these incredible new camcorders," said Matt Marner, director at Video Europe Ltd.

"Every new product, service or solution we introduce at Sony has always been designed based on customer feedback and with the needs of our end users in mind. The same applies to our new PXW-FX9 and PXW-Z750 camcorders. We are thrilled that our long-standing partner Video Europe has already placed an order for our new camcorders," commented Hiroshi Kajita, Head of Media Solutions, Sony Professional Solutions Europe.

The PXW-FX9 is the first Sony XDCAM camcorder with an advanced 6K Full-Frame sensor and Fast Hybrid Auto Focus (AF) system. The PXW-FX9 is expected to be released before the end of 2019.

The PXW-Z750 is the first 2/3-type shoulder camcorder that supports native 4K shooting with a 3-chip CMOS Global Shutter sensor system and is expected to be released in February 2020.
