Twofour has restructured its development team with Head of New Formats, Ana De Moraes, leaving the company and Jonny Coller promoted to Director of Development.
Coller has also joined the management board of the Twofour Group. De Moraes, who had been in her role for a year, will not be directly replaced.
Coller joined Twofour in 2011 and developed a range of shows, including Channel 4’s The Jump, before rising to become Head of Development in 2014. As Head of Development, he has overseen the entire development slate with commissions including BBC One’s The Real Marigold Hotel, Channel 5’s One Night With My Ex and upcoming ITV singing show Change Your Tune.
Edward Phillips now becomes Head of Factual and Fact Ent Development. He has been part of the Twofour development team for eight years helping develop shows including ITV’s forthcoming 12-part business series Give it a Year, BBC One’s The Real Marigold on Tour, BBC daytime’s Dom on the Spot and Channel 4’s Confessions of a Junior Doctor.
Luke Dolan joins as Development Executive from Whizz Kid where he has just produced a BBC One entertainment pilot. Before that he was a senior member of the Syco development team. He moved to development after a career in production with credits that include The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Ant and Dec’s Gameshow Marathon and Saturday Night Takeaway.
Anna Abenson joins as Senior Development Producer. Her commissions include BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den Pitches to Riches and Smells Like Friday Night for Channel 4. Prior to moving into development, she produced series ranging from Channel 4’s Gordon Ramsay’s F Word and The Sex Education Show to House of Tiny Tearaways for BBC Three.
Andrew Mackenzie, Chief Creative Officer, Twofour Group said: “Under Jonny, Twofour’s development team has become one of the most prolific and respected in the industry. Both his and Ed’s promotions are well deserved and their new appointments add strength to a thriving creative team.”
Jonny Coller and Edward Phillips will be commencing their roles with immediate effect. Luke Dolan and Anna Abenson will be joining the company this month.
