BBC Studios Comedy Productions’ sitcom Two Doors Down has been commissioned for a new 6 x 30 series and will move to a new home on BBC One.
Production will get underway this summer with the series transmitting later this year.
The sitcom has steadily built a fan base that has consistently grown with each series. The most recent Christmas special attracted its highest audience to date with 2.8million viewing the special across 30 days on all screens.
Co-creators Gregor Sharp and Simon Carlyle said: “We’re excited to be spreading our wings and lowering the tone as we introduce BBC One audiences to life in Latimer Crescent.”
