The Trusted Partner Network (TPN) has unveiled the Stella Security Award, the highest level of content security.

The Stella Security Award will recognise service providers that achieve the highest level of content security compliance under TPN’s next-generation Shield structure.

Launched in September 2025, the next-gen Shield structure was designed to address the continued rise of security incidents and the need to strengthen content security by clearly distinguishing between levels of preparedness. It gives service providers a pathway toward full compliance with the Motion Picture Association’s Content Security Best Practices and Additional Recommendations. The Stella Security Award takes that one step further by “publicly recognising those organisations that have fully closed all remediation items and demonstrated a sustained, organization-wide commitment to security excellence.”

“Security done well, and the teams dedicated to content security, are often invisible, which means the organizations investing the most effort rarely get recognized,” says Terri Davies, President of TPN. “The Stella Award is about changing that dynamic. It acknowledges the service providers that have achieved full compliance and have built a culture of continuous improvement around content protection. By celebrating those achievements, we’re encouraging others to follow the same path.”

TPN announced DigiKore Studios, Google Workspace, HumTum VFX, and Mist VFX as its inaugural Stella Security Award recipients.

Qualifying organisations receive a physical award for display at industry events, along with recognition across TPN channels. The Stella Security Award will be presented throughout the year to more service providers who achieve the TPN Gold Star Shield.
