Post house The Mill has taken the top spot in Televisual’s prestigious Facilities 50 survey of the UK post production sector for the eighth year in a row.

Now in its 29th year, Televisual’s Facilities 50 survey exclusively reveals the 50 post facilities that currently rule the roost in UK post production.

The Mill gets to number one on the back of its £130m turnover and a pile of votes from both its peers and producer clients.

In second place is MPC, which had an “exceptionally buoyant and productive year” in its words on the back of some fabulous film work for movies including The Jungle Book.

Third placed Framestore also had a stand out year with work on blockbuster movies including The Martian, The Legend of Tarzan, Pan and Avengers Age of Ultron.

The Producer Poll, our poll of the post houses’ clients saw Envy take the top spot this time. Producers voted for the facility because of its “high end offering” and its “excellent client service and operators” as well as its “posh facilities”.

The Peer Poll, where the post houses vote for the rival companies they particularly admire was won by The Mill due to its ““landmark work and premium facilities” and “international outlook.”
