Sports producer Sunset+Vine has been confirmed as Host Broadcaster for the 2023 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships that will take place in the UK in September.
The championships, a first for Sunset+Vine, will be staged at the London 2012 Olympic canoe slalom venue, Lee Valley White Water Centre.
Taking place annually, the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships is a six-day action packed event where canoe and kayak athletes from more than 50 countries compete in individual and team races. There is added significance this year as the event will also allow athletes to earn their country’s Olympic quota spot for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Sunset+Vine will provide full Host Broadcast services, including World Feed Production. The coverage will include a 14-camera plan, including super slomo and on-course minicams. The broadcast will provide coverage across the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals of all events.
Andrew Preece, Executive Director at Sunset+Vine, commented: “We are very excited to be the ICF and British Canoeing’s broadcast partner for a major world championship back at the London 2012 Olympic venue at Lee Valley White Water Centre.
