Studio Lambert’s scripted division has promoted Maddie Sinclair from head of development to executive producer and hired James Gandhi from Mammoth Screen as head of development.

Sinclair joined Studio Lambert in 2016 from BBC Studios.  At BBC Studios, she worked as a development producer and script editor across a range of dramas including the Emmy-nominated series Luther and the BAFTA-nominated The C Word.

While script editor at Mammoth Screen, Gandhi worked on Fearless and Vanity Fair for ITV and The City & the City and Noughts & Crosses for the BBC.

“Maddie has been an outstanding head of development and I’m delighted she is going to be stepping up to take on an executive producing role,” said Susan Hogg, Studio Lambert’s head of drama, “and James is a hugely talented drama creative who has already made his mark on our expanding slate. We are absolutely thrilled that he has joined the team at such an exciting time for Studio Lambert drama.”

Studio Lambert is about to start shooting in Scotland on the Nicole Taylor penned five-part series The Nest for BBC One.  It’s a thriller about an affluent Glaswegian couple and their relationship with the young woman whom they want to be a surrogate for their child.  The Nest follows Nicole Taylor’s acclaimed multi-award-winning BBC One miniseries Three Girls which Studio Lambert produced in association with BBC Studios.

And Studio Lambert’s ten-episode sci-fi series The Feed starring Guy Burnet, Nina Toussaint-White, Michelle Fairley and David Thewlis will be premiering on Virgin Media this autumn and released in the States on Amazon Prime.
