Sony has released this short, The Departure, billing it as the first footage released to have been shot with the new Venice CineAlta camera in Europe.
It was shot by DoP Ed Wild with Sony saying “He takes full advantage of the creative tool mixing different colour temperatures and playing with light to capture Emotion in Every Frame.”

Sony also released this film, The Dig, that has been shot on the Venice. The writer/director is Joseph Kosinski and the DoP was Claudio Miranda.
