Content collaboration company, Sohonet, has joined the Trusted Partner Network (TPN), incorporating the new TPN+ platform into its content security preparedness, assessments, and reporting.

TPN is based on the Motion Picture Association (MPA) Best Practices (BP v5.2) framework for site, application, and cloud security. Initially launched in 2018, the organisation recently introduced a new multi-tiered membership model and TPN+ platform that “provides greater flexibility, efficiency and transparency to global content owners and service providers in the media and entertainment industry.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Sohonet to the TPN community,” said Kari Grubin, membership services director at TPN. “Now more than ever, it is important for companies in the media supply chain to prioritize content security preparedness. By joining our community, Sohonet is setting an example of how investing in safeguarding content is a strategic best practice in today’s market.”

Sohonet’s inclusion in TPN “demonstrates its commitment to content security and the secure handling of content workflows and complex supply chains in an environment of rapid growth and technology evolution.”

Chuck Parker, Sohonet CEO said, “The security of our customer’s content is a foundation of everything we do. We are committed to the art of great storytelling and doing so securely is a crucial part of that. By joining TPN and incorporating the TPN+ platform into our workflow, we further support the protection and integrity of the content we have the privilege to work on.”
