Chernobyl indie, Sister, has hired ex head of UK scripted for Amazon UK, Lydia Hampson as executive producer.
Sister has also signed a first look deal with Amazon Studios for Hampson’s projects that will see Sister develop scripted series for Prime. Hampson will work alongside Amazon Studios U.K. head of originals Dan Grabiner to develop projects.
Before Amazon Studios, Hampson was at Two Brothers Pictures where she exec produced shows including Fleabag.
Hampson’s first project at Sister will see her working alongside exec Naomi de Pear on conman thriller The Following Events are Based on a Pack of Lies. The show, commissioned by The BBC is written by Penelope Skinner (Fresh Meat, Linda, Briony Hatch – a graphic novel) and Ginny Skinner (Briony Hatch – a graphic novel).
