Clerkenwell based film and TV studio, Mount Pleasant has promoted Simon Carter to Studio Manager.

Carter will oversee the day to day running of the studio, liaising with Mount Pleasant Studio’s clients across commercials, broadcast and corporate production and building the studio’s hire business.
Managing Director Richard Lewisohn said: “Simon has been a key part of our success and I doubt there is anyone more experienced to take on this role. Our 100 five star Google Reviews are testament to the peerless service Simon has provided to clients. As one recent reviewer wrote “5 stars isn’t enough, really”. I look forward to working with him in his new role as he takes the studio forward”.
Simon Carter said: “After many happy years at Mount Pleasant Studios, I’m very pleased to be stepping into my new role, and look forward to new challenges, not least spreading the word about our unique Central London soundstage.”
Mount Pleasant recent clients include Baby Cow, ITN, Disney, Leo Burnett, Royle Productions, Blink Productions and Stink Studios. Recent shoots include a green screen VFX shoot with Hugh Grant for ‘Paddington 2’, a promotional shoot for ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ with Rebel Wilson and interviews with Armando Iannucci and Rebecca Front for the BBC Documentary ‘Alan Partridge: Why, When, Where, How and Whom?’.
