Writer, actor and producer Sharon Horgan has signed an exclusive multi year deal with Apple’s new streaming service, Apple TV+, according to industry reports.
The deal comes at the end of Horgan’s previous two-year deal with Amazon and was put together by ex Channel 4 content boss Jay Hunt who now leads Apple TV’s UK division and works as part of Apple’s international content team.
The deal concerns all future projects written by Horgan and will be separate to the two-year overhead and development funding and first look distribution deal that Horgan and Clelia Mountford’s Merman TV recently signed with Sky Studios.
