Rock Oyster Media has produced 10-part cookery series Jeremy Pang’s Asian Kitchen for the ITV weekend morning schedule, fully funded by Chinese sauce brand Lee Kum Kee.

Pang will be travelling around the UK finding local producers and ingredients, before giving them his Chinese and Asian-influenced treatment.

In addition, soap actor Joe Swash will have a crash course in Chinese and Asian style cooking in a returning strand.

The series is commissioned by Leanne Clarke and Katie Rawcliffe at ITV, exec produced by Rock Oyster’s David Nottage and Charlotte Davis and series produced by Hannah Wilson.

Devon-based Rock Oyster Media, backed by investment partner Round World Group, Rock Oyster is currently ITV’s biggest true indie supplier by volume. The company specialises in food and lifestyle programming, with titles including Ainsley’s Good Mood Food and Simply Raymond Blanc. The company also produces Unwind with ITV, designed to support and promote mindfulness.
