Harbor has added Re-Recording Mixer Oliver Brierley to its global sound roster, based in London.

Formerly at Formosa Group, Brierley has more than 20 years of experience across film and television. His credits include Apple TV+ Original Bad Sisters, Disney+/Hulu’s Rivals, Wicked Little Letters, and Heads of State, alongside episodic work on Nightsleeper, The Rig, Domina, and Intergalactic. Additional notable feature work includes Hot Fuzz and dark comedy In Bruges.

He has been recognised as part of the BAFTA-winning sound team for Downton Abbey and Tsunami: The Aftermath, and has received multiple nominations from leading industry bodies, including the Cinema Audio Society (CAS), Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) Golden Reel Awards, and the Primetime Emmy Awards for Excellence in Mixing and Sound Editing.

“Great sound comes from great relationships,” said Thom Berryman, Managing Director of Entertainment, Harbor UK. “Oliver combines creative sensitivity with a clear creative point of view and a strong presence in the mix theatre. He builds confidence and trust with clients and filmmakers alike, keeping the process collaborative, focused, and enjoyable, while always putting the story and the client experience first, making him a natural fit for Harbor.”

Working closely with Creative Director of Sound, UK, Nigel Squibbs, Brierley joins Harbor’s sound team, whose recent credits include House of Guinness, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, Celine Song’s Materialists, AppleTV+ Original Your Friends and Neighbors, Good Fortune, and NOW TV’s Sweetpea. The team was most recently recognised with a 2025 Emmy win for Best Mixing for Beatles 64’, two Emmy nominations for Best Sound Editing and Sound Mixing for Pee Wee as Himself, and a BAFTA TV nomination for SAS: Rogue Heroes.

“I’m very excited to be joining Harbor this year,” said Oliver Brierley. “I really admire the artistic team – they are creative, innovative and focused on craft, and together we are very ambitious to create the best possible work. It’s a great start to 2026 and I’m looking forward to bringing my years of experience to dynamic new projects as part of a global studio.”
