All3Media production company Raw has announced several changes to its senior team with promotions for Tom Barry, Ross Goodlass and Sarah Harris.

Raw’s Executive Producer Tom Barry is promoted to the newly created role of Director of Programmes, UK Factual.   Barry most recently executive produced Chris Packham: Asperger’s and Me for BBC Two.  The film has been nominated for three Grierson Awards and was a double winner at the 2018 BAFTA Craft Awards. His TV slate includes the series Flatpack Empire for BBC Two and Britain’s Busiest Airport: Heathrow for ITV. 

Further changes to Raw’s creative team include the promotion of Raw’s Ross Goodlass to Head of Development UK Factual. Goodlass has been responsible for devising, developing and producing singles and returning series, including Unsafe Sex In The City (BBC Three), Worst Place To Be A Pilot, The Man With 10-Stone Testicles and The Nightclub Toilet (Channel 4). During his time at Raw, he has played a key role in expanding the company’s Specialist Factual and Documentary output, including The Drug Trial: Emergency At The Hospital (BBC Two), Abortion On Trial with Anne Robinson (BBC Two), and Acid Attack (BBC Three).  Goodlass will be supported by Sarah Harris, who previously ran development at Century Films and has been promoted to Deputy Head of Development. They will report to Liesel Evans, Creative Director of UK Factual.

Raw UK currently has a number of TV series on air and in production including the recent three part series The Five Billion Pound Super Sewer, Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry and Searching For Mum, all for BBC Two; the forthcoming 90 minute special Drowning In Plastic with Liz Bonin (part of the BBC One Plastic Watch season in September and the recently announced Tom Daley on Surrogacy (w.t) for BBC One.  It is also in production with a number of yet to be announced, series for broadcasters including BBC, ITV and Netflix.   

Raw’s US division makes Gold Rush, Locked up Abroad and Homestead Rescue; its feature film American Animals  opens in the UK in September, along with Three Identical Strangers.
