Just over a year since launch, post outfit Racoon has added a second building to its Frith Street base with a new facility on Margaret Street.
The company has also entered into a partnership with Vaudeville Sound for sound design and audio post.
The new Margaret Street building will open its doors this month.
Along with collaboration, review and mastering rooms, the building also provides two audio mixing studios, extending Racoon’s ability to provide on site HD & UHD grade & online and 5.1 stereo & Dolby Home Atmos services.
Racoon is based on a hybrid offering, with editors “working on Racoon edit systems all over the country and in Europe on flagship shows for UK and international broadcasters and streamers.”
Racoon has also announced a partnership with Vaudeville Sound to supply all audio creatives.
Racoon Chief Commercial Officer, Charlotte Layton, said of the partnership: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Dan, Bronzie, Luke & Lois and their team to provide our audio post services and talent supply. We strongly believe in enabling creatives to be matched on a production by production basis and Vaudeville’s amazing stable of talent will help us ensure we can offer our clients the very best in creative choice.”
Vaudeville CEO, Dan Jones said: “To partner with Racoon is such an exciting opportunity as we see post production evolve to be a future thinking creative industry”
Racoon CEO, David Klafkowski, said of the new Margaret Street base: “No one feels remote when they work with Racoon and our hybrid offering ensures that face to face time is hassle free when it’s needed. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Margaret St. It marks another milestone in Racoon’s continued success story and provides a great location for creative collaboration to thrive”.
