US-based Underground Vaults & Storage, a leader in secure storage solutions for the film and entertainment industry, has acquired R3store Studios, based in London, England.
R3store Studios and R3el, its licensing branch, is one of the most trusted archive and restoration companies in the United Kingdom. UV&S has plans to roll out its services in the US.
This acquisition expands the offerings of UV&S to include Digital Services, supporting the film and entertainment business. R3store Studios has expertise in tape digitization, film scanning, grading, restoration, and preservation, offering comprehensive services to safeguard and revive cinematic treasures. The restoration process includes innovative technology and craftsmanship, along with traditional techniques to achieve optimal results.
Jo Griffin, co‐founder of R3store, will lead the division as Digital & Restoration Director and a team of award‐winning industry professionals will continue with the company.

R3el is the footage licensing branch of R3store Studios and boasts an extensive library of digitized and restored stock footage, making them available to film makers and commercial enterprises through its website.
