Gangs of London producer Pulse Films, has hired Amazon Studios’ Bianca Gavin as Head of Production of scripted television and film.

Gavin will be responsible for working within Pulse Films’ scripted division as a primary production point of contact across all titles from development through delivery and will report to Jamie Hall, COO of Scripted Television and Film.

Gavin was most recently Senior Production Executive for EU scripted originals at Amazon Studios. Working closely with Georgia Brown, Gavin was responsible for looking after their first slate of dramas across the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain including the highly anticipated The Power and Jungle. With more than 20 years of experience in production, she rose through the ranks from the production department to line producer, across TV drama, comedy and feature films. Prior to joining Amazon, Gavin was Production Manager for Sky Originals, where she looked after original dramas and comedies, including Britannia and Save Me, and set up Sky Breakthrough, a work placement initiative for disabled new talent. She also is a member of the Production Guild of Great Britain’s diversity taskforce which aims to improve production diversity and career progression opportunities.
