Pro Motion Hire has opened a new branch in Liverpool.

Based in Liverpool’s creative hub, the Baltic Triangle, the new offshoot will provide kit and technical expertise for the film, broadcast and digital content industries in the North of England.

Pro Motion Liverpool will be the fourth office in the Pro Motion Hire group, joining current offices in London, Manchester and Brighton and will be looked after by Pro Motion’s North of England and Special Projects management team.

The Liverpool follows the opening of the Manchester branch in March 2015 at The Sharp Project. The offshoot doubled in size within 18 months and employs four permanent staff and local apprentices.

Jessica Lolliot, Facilities Director of Pro Motion Manchester and Liverpool, said: “Liverpool has always been a hub of creativity and industry, and we’re so excited to open a dedicated facilities house here. We are looking forward to working with a host of new businesses along with our regular clients. We have been proud to support Tech North growth in Manchester and we’re looking forward to doing the same in Liverpool, whether it’s the wide range of innovative and exciting clients on our doorstep or clients from the south that venture up for different landscapes.”

Duncan Martin, MD of Pro Motion Hire said: “We are passionate about creating regional facilities houses that can support all aspects of our clients’ needs nationwide so opening in Liverpool will allow us to support productions from their doorstep. The creative sectors in the North of England are a huge growing industry and with so much exciting content being created in Liverpool, we are really looking forward to be a part of it”

As well kit and crewing, Pro Motion Liverpool will also offer bespoke training, scheduled courses and industry events showcasing the latest technology and releases.
