ITV Studios label Possessed has promoted Simon Crossley to head of development.

Possessed said his promotion comes following his work on new Possessed formats: Bradley Walsh quiz show Cash Trapped and new physical game show Spotless (pictured), both of which premiered on ITV last month.

Before joining Possessed Crossley was part of team who developed The Secret Life of Four Year Olds at RDF Television.

Crossley has also previously worked in international development for BBC Worldwide,  Sony Pictures Television and Zodiak Media where he worked with development teams on shows including Sing If You Can and That’s My Kid. He began his career in BBC Entertainment working on shows including How to Solve A Problem Like Maria and The Weakest Link.

Glenn Hugill, Managing Director, Possessed said: “Simon has been pivotal to the rapid growth of Possessed. He’s the original triple threat: he has inspired ideas, he can make transformational improvements to the ideas of others and he’s dazzlingly prolific.”
