5 has re-commissioned ‘Inside Four Seasons: Park Lane’, produced by Plum Pictures.

The new series will return to the Park Lane address, but this time will also feature its sister hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. The series “offers viewers a unique insight into what it takes to keep two of Britain’s iconic hotels running seamlessly.”

The second series follows the logistical challenges which face the teams on both sites, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From the dream outdoor wedding of two American lovebirds which must go ahead during a storm, sourcing sold-out theatre tickets, finding non-existent rooms when there is a fire at Heathrow, or sourcing a horse and carriage for a last-minute wedding anniversary – the teams at Four Seasons never say never.

From the gardeners who source fresh honey for breakfast, the florist who has been at Park Lane for 30 years, the concierge who cycles 25K a day, the army of housekeepers and their indomitable leader, 25K bottles of wine, specialist horsehair pillows, actual horses, Four Seasons teams never stop delivering. We see the teams battle to deliver five-star service day and night and also get to see who will reign victorious in this year’s fiercely fought London Hotels Softball Championship….

Kit Morey, Commissioning Editor, Unscripted, 5 said: “Luxury hotels are designed to make everything look effortless – but make no mistake, at  Four Seasons Hotel at Park Lane, the effort to provide the perfect guest experience is incomparable, where no request is too big, no detail is too small and every day brings a new story. This series isn’t just about five-star luxury – it’s about the people who make it happen, and this time,  with a side order of The Four Seasons in Hampshire to see just how they do posh in the countryside.”

Lynn Brutman, Regional Vice President and General Manager at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane: “We were honoured to welcome back Plum Pictures and 5 to showcase the story of our hotels and to shine a light on the incredible individuals behind the scenes at both Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. From our world-renowned Concierge and meticulous Housekeeping experts to the Michelin-starred culinary team at Pavyllon London, this series is a testament to the passion, care and craftsmanship they demonstrate every day.”

Gill Wilson, Creative Director of Plum Pictures commented: “We’re delighted to be back at Four Seasons Park Lane, the best place in the world to people watch.  The series focuses on the passionate, warm and dedicated people who make these hotels such a breathtaking treat.
