Irish media production company Playhouse Studios has acquired Halo Post’s Noel Street facility and assets and is launching Playhouse Post with an ongoing extensive refurbishment to be completed over the summer.
This news follows Playhouse’s 2025 acquisition of UK post-production company LipSync, Together, the businesses will offer an end-to-end post-production service spanning picture finishing, sound, VFX, colour grading, online editing and delivery in Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.
Mark Foligno will head up Playhouse Post as CEO.
LipSync’s notable credits included The Brutalist, The Salt Path, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, Golda, The Stolen Girl and Living.
Many high profile scripted and unscripted productions completed picture finishing in the Noel Street buildings including Our Universe, Ridley Scott’s Surviving Black Hawk Down and Nutopia’s Pole to Pole with Will Smith.
The Soho facility features a Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision theatre – a 17-seat screening and finishing environment.
Playhouse Post forms part of the wider Playhouse Studios group, which brings together content creation and production services, post-production and film and television financing. The launch reflects the company’s continued ambition to provide partners with a fully integrated offering across the content production lifecycle.
