Peaky Blinders feature film confirmed

Peaky Blinders is to have a feature film version, with a shoot in Birmingham’s Digbeth and Small Heath beginning in the next 18 months.

The Tiger Aspect series creator Steven Knight revealed the upcoming production during a chat about his role in delivering the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, He said, “it’s like Peaky’s coming home.”

Knight confirmed that the film script is close to completion and that it will feature familiar faces alongside “some new faces that will hopefully be quite surprising.”
