Agency group for actors, writers and behind the camera talent, The Partnership Group has acquired a majority shareholding in founding companies Sara Putt Associates and Sayle Screen.

Led by Sara Putt and Laurily Adams, Sara Putt Associates represents behind the camera technical and production talent from producers and directors through to heads of department and crew. The company also runs the Sara Putt Associates Trainee Scheme, a professional development programme designed to support trainees in high end TV drama and film. Founder Sara Putt currently serves as the chair of BAFTA.

Sayle Screen was first established as a literary agency in 1896 and is one of the UK’s leading independent agencies representing writers, directors and producers for film, television and theatre. The agency is led by Jane Villiers, Matthew Bates and Kelly Knatchbull.

The Partnership Group is a UK-based group of independent agencies representing actors, writers, directors, producers and below the line talent.

In coming together their combined clients now include;  Actors including Idris Elba, James Norton, Olivia Cooke, Ambika Mod, Naomie Harris and Marisa Abela, TV writers Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan and Marlon Smith, Anne Marie O’Connor, Paul Doolan, Adam Gyngell and Fred Armesto, Filmmakers Yorgos Lanthimos and Andrea Arnold, Media Rights of Sir Ian Rankin (Sayle Screen), Joanne Harris (Sayle Screen), Alice Oseman (Heartstopper – The Artists Partnership), Holly Jackson (A Good Girls Guide to Murder – The Artists Partnership) and Ragnar Johansson (The Darkness – The Artists Partnership).

The Partnership Group, via The Development Partnership, works with clients to “realise projects they are passionate about.” A recent example being King and Conqueror the upcoming 8×60 minute epic directed by Baltasar Kormákur, written by Michael Robert Johnson and starring Nikolaj Coster Waldau and The Artists Partnership client James Norton for the BBC and CBS International. The Development Partnership co-produced with Norton’s Rabbit Track Pictures. The group is a minority partner in Rabbit Track.
