Pact has appointed Chris Curley as Nations and Regions Member Relations and Project Manager.
Curley is a former Commissioning Editor and Head of Development at Comedy Central UK.
Curley has worked in development and production across genres at companies including CPL, STV, Twenty Twenty, Green Inc, So, Vice and Hat Trick.
Commenting on his appointment, Chris Curley said: “There are fantastic companies in every corner of the nations and regions. I’m thrilled at the opportunity to use my experience to champion their talent and their people by supporting their growth in the UK and abroad, showing by being local, you can go global with fantastic original content.”
Starting the role tomorrow, 1st February 2023, he will be working with members across the UK to help them develop their business by addressing barriers such as skills, access, investment and international opportunities.
Curley will be based in Pact’s Leeds office, reporting to Managing Director of Business Development & Global Strategy Dawn McCarthy-Simpson, and will be developing regular and comprehensive contact with Pact members, and potential members, to promote the benefits of Pact membership and to ensure that Pact’s services and policies support their growth.
Curley will also continue to deliver and manage existing Pact projects such as the Pact Growth Accelerator, as well as identifying and developing new projects to help Pact’s Nations and Regions members develop and grow their businesses.
