Channel 5 has closed the gate for the last time on Our Yorkshire Farm after five series and commissioned a new spin-off Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive (3 x 60) featuring the Farm’s Clive Owen and son Reuben.

The series will be produced by Renegade Pictures with Natalie Wilkinson serving as exec producer and Kate Fraser as series producer and director. The series was ordered by Daniel Pearl commissioning editor, Factual, Channel 5 and Paramount+.

Viewers have watched mum Amanda and dad Clive raise their nine children over the years and now, Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive follows Clive and Reuben as they travel beyond their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales, to embark on a digging business venture together. The show will chart how the teenager’s unique childhood has prepared him for adult life, chart the highs and lows of Reuben’s first year in business and watch dad Clive, best mate Tom and girlfriend Sarah join him on this journey.

Channel 5 has also confirmed today that after five series, the breakout hit Our Yorkshire Farm series, following Amanda, Clive and their nine children on Ravenseat Farm will come to an end. The series, which first aired in 2018, saw success and critical acclaim, becoming the channel’s highest rated factual series to date, with 15 million viewers across five seasons and garnered popularity over the years for its heart-warming and honest portrayal of family life in the countryside.

Daniel Pearl, commissioning editor, Factual, Channel 5 & P+ said: “The Owens have become everyone’s favourite farming family and millions have enjoyed watching their unique way of life. It’s fantastic that we can now all follow Reuben and Clive on their next adventure. We remain absolutely committed to the whole wonderful Owen family and hope to announce new projects with Amanda very soon.”

Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive is set to launch on Channel 5 on Tuesday 6th December at 9pm with further information on future Owen Family projects to be revealed in due course.
