Nexus Studios has added director Shane Griffin to its global roster for commercial representation.

Griffin’s work “seamlessly blends surrealism with futuristic themes” and he has directed work  for clients like Apple, BMW, Givenchy, and Guinness and collaborated on music promos for artists like Wiz Khalifa and exhibited his artwork globally.

His experience includes time as a Psyop Director, Creative Director at Method Studios, Global Creative Director for Los York and Head of Motion Design at Man vs Machine. He was named a Louis Vuitton “200 Visionary,” and ADC Young Gun. He has also received awards such as Cannes Gold Lion and Shark Awards.

This signing aligns with the Nexus’ focus on spatial computing production following the launch of their motion design division, Nexus Design Studio. Griffin’s ability to combine live-action and design “opens up exciting possibilities in emerging fields like AI and Real-Time filmmaking, a collaboration ripe with potential.”

“Shane’s very much a unique voice in high-end visual filmmaking. His artful blending of sophisticated design and cinematic live-action sets an aspirational standard. He is also very versed in how innovation is changing storytelling and its appropriate application. So we’re of course thrilled to have him join our roster and it’s an exciting collaboration ahead,” said Chris O’Reilly, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Nexus Studios
