Netflix has reported record UK revenues according to its latest company accounts.

Netflix Services UK, the UK subsidiary of Netflix Inc, reported in a Companies House filing that revenues for the UK hit £1.67bn last year, an increase of 8% on the 2022 figure.

Operating profit for the financial year ended 31 December amounts to £53.7m, up from £31.6m in 2022).

The filing states that the increase is due to a “larger member base” with a “7% growth in the average number of paid memberships and an increase in average monthly revenue per paying membership”

Netflix hiked membership prices last year while cracking down on password sharing.
