Storage solutions leader, Western Digital, is unveiling a line-up of technologies and new storage solutions at the NAB Show 2024 in Las Vegas.
Products launched include next-gen SanDisk SD Express (128GB/256GB) and microSD Express (128GB/256GB) portfolio with transfer speeds up to 4.4 times faster than Western Digital’s fastest SD UHS-I card.
For professional videographers and moviemakers, Western Digital is unveiling their first and fastest 2TB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I and Extreme Pro microSDXC UHS-I memory cards. The 4TB SanDisk Extreme PRO SDUC UHS-I memory card delivers greater capacity in the same-size SD form factor.
SanDisk Professional’s line-up of premium desktop hard drive soloutions is also expanding, and now feature 24TB enterprise-class 7200 RPM Ultrastar drives inside to better support 4K, 8K and VR workflows.
Finally, Western Digital is launching new storage platforms in the Ultrastar Transporter with up to 368TB of fast NVMe SSD performance and Ultrastar Data102 JBOD Platform with the company’s ArticFlow and IsoVibe innovations that can reduce heat and vibration by up to 62% versus the generation without.
