Cooke is using NAB to unveil two all-new lens ranges plus a second zoom lens for its Anamorphic/i series.
The S7/i Full Frame Plus prime lens range is designed to cover full frame cinema camera sensors, up to the full sensor area (46.31mm image circle) of the RED Weapon 8K. The range is scheduled to ship from June 2017.
It’s also showing its Panchro/i Classic range, Cooke’s redesign of its original Speed Panchros, with newly designed housing and PL mounts. The new Panchro/i Classic lenses are lightweight, making them work for handheld, drone and Steadicam work.
Cooke is also showing its second front Anamorphic/i zoom lens for the first time. The new front Anamorphic/i zoom lens has final confirmed specifications featuring 10x zoom front anamorphic, 45-450mm T4.5-22, 5’10” MOD from image plane and 3’11” close focus from the front of the lens.
