Full-service music supervision company, LALA, has been launched by Emily Richardson and Hannah Merrington.
The company offers end-to-end music and sound solutions to producers and creatives across advertising, film, and television.
At the helm is Emily Richardson, appointed as Executive Creative Director. A music supervisor and clearance expert with over a decade’s experience in sync teams at Warner Chappell, Nettwerk Music, and Wise Music, Richardson transitioned into music supervision in 2020 and has worked on blockbuster features such as Barbie, The Batman, and The Conjuring: Last Rites.
Joining her is General Manager Hannah Merrington, whose international career spans leadership roles at Rumble Studios and Audio Network, where she was Head of Television for the APAC region. They are supported by Producer/Senior Music Supervisor Lorna Hall, whose career in production bridges award-winning short films, major ad campaigns, and APA consultancy.
“What makes LALA unique is that we’ve built a truly end-to-end service,” said Richardson. “We built LALA on the three pillars of professionalism, approachability and creative ingenuity. From creative music direction and clearance to bespoke composition, sonic branding, and Dolby Atmos mixing, everything can be handled under one roof at our Soho studio. Think of us as your personal music department, collaborating with producers and directors to bring your vision to life with agility, innovation, and world-class quality.
“Our ability to hit every touchpoint to bring creative vision to life and serve all corners of the market is unique.” said Merrington. “LALA brings together the collective expertise of our team: Emily’s unrivalled supervision skills and strong connection to the music industry, our composers’ creative firepower and technical skill, and Lorna’s extensive production and creative insights. We’re here to match the best music talent with every project, no matter the scale.”
