The Music+Sound Awards have unveiled the finalists for their annual global competition.
Composers Jon Opstad, Anne Nikitin, Nainita Desai, Chris Roe, Blair Mowat, and tracks from Florence Black, Radiohead, Pixey are among the line-up.
Now in its 12th year, The Music+Sound Awards recognise the impact of music and sound in the media. These awards honor the talents of composers, sound designers, music supervisors, and sync teams who contribute their expertise to elevate storytelling in film, advertising, television, gaming and more.

The jury this year included the following leading industry figures: Ed Lilly, Director (TV: The Rising; Industry | Film: VS.); composers Raphaelle Thibaut (Introducing, Selma Blair; Disney Plus’ Secrets of the Whales; BBC’s Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History) and Hollie Buhagier (Channel 4’s Unfair; BAFTA-Winning Poles Apart); and Jonathan Hecht, Music Supervisor at Venn Arts, Brooklyn (HBO’s Dear Rider and Any One Of Us + Prime Video’s Free Meek).
Winners of 2023’s Awards will be announced on Thursday October 12th, 4pm (GMT), via The Music+Sound Awards’ X / Twitter feed, @MASawards, and on the Awards site, www.masawards.com, and via media partner’s channels.
