VFX studio MPC, part of the Technicolor Group, has named Lucinda Keeler as Head of Production for its London studio.
Reporting into MPC’s Global Heads of Production, Luke Groves and Alexandra Daunt Watney, Keeler will manage all aspects of the London studio’s production pipeline. Her focus will be on optimising workflows, advancing technical capabilities, and overseeing the delivery of shots for high-profile film and episodic projects.
Most recently, Keeler served as VFX Producer for Showtime’s historical drama The First Lady and Hulu’s miniseries We Were the Lucky Ones. Prior to this, she was VFX Producer at Framestore, overseeing production on movies including director Andy Serkis’ Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.
Her career includes working at major studios, contributing to several blockbuster films. In 2018, she was part of the team that delivered the visual effects for Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Netflix’s Cursed. In 2013, she joined Paramount Studios as VFX Coordinator for the global phenomenon World War Z.
Earlier in her career, Keeler made a significant impact at Warner Bros., where she worked on the Academy Award-winning space epic Gravity.
Keeler’s journey in the VFX industry began at Framestore, where she quickly rose through the ranks from Data Operator to VFX Line Producer, laying the foundation for her career.
Andrea Miloro, Chief Business and Strategy Officer, MPC and Mikros Animation commented, “Lucinda’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for MPC. Her wealth of experience and leadership will be key as we expand our production capabilities to meet the growing demands of film, TV, and streaming services.”
