David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays and Henry Lloyd-Hughes have joined the cast of Netflix’s adaptation of Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club.
They join the already announced lead cast of Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie.
The series is produced by Amblin Entertainment and written by Chris Columbus.
The story follows a group of friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun, but find themselves caught in a real case. The four members of the club are played by Helen Mirren (ex-spy Elizabeth), Sir Ben Kingsley (ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim) Pierce Brosnan (former union activist Ron) and Celia Imrie (ex-nurse Joyce).
The Producers are Jennifer Todd and Chris Columbus and the Executive Producers are Holly Bario, Jeb Brody, Eleanor Columbus and Jo Burn.
