Producer of upcoming Disney+ fantasy series Nautilus, Moonriver TV, has expanded its London-based team with the hire of Lincia Daniel as an Executive Producer and promotion of Casey Herbert.
Daniel joins from Slim Film and Television, where she was UK Head of Production, working on Around the World in 80 Days for BBC One and Mystic for CBBC.
Moonriver TV’s existing Executive Producer, Casey Herbert, is stepping up to become Senior Executive Producer, overseeing the creative team in London and working alongside CEO Xavier Marchand on the company’s slate of British and International drama.
With Marchand in Australia on the Nautilus set, Lincia Daniel will join Casey Herbert and Head of Development Daisy Gilbert in driving forward the company’s development slate, including First Time for Everything, an adaptation of the debut novel by Henry Fry about a young gay man’s wild ride through modern queer life in London; Notre Dame, a real-time mini-series created by William Boyd about the devastating fire that ripped through Paris’ Notre-Dame Cathedral in April 2019; A Gentleman in Moscow, based on the NY Times bestseller by Amor Towles, and adapted for a major international streamer; and Vain Glory, by the acclaimed late screenwriter Alan Sharp, to be directed by James Watkins.
CEO Xavier Marchand said: “This is a tremendous start to 2022 and absolutely the right time for Moonriver TV to strengthen its team. With her strong background in production and all-round Executive Producer skills, Lincia will be the perfect complement to Casey, and with Nautilus in production, and Cosecration in post-production, this could be our most exciting year yet.”
Daniel said: “I’m really excited to be joining this dynamic, creative powerhouse. Moonriver TV’s talented team is developing and producing a rich and diverse slate of imaginative projects with exceptional writers and directors, and it’s a privilege to be joining such an impressive company.”
