Mip TV is to relocate from Cannes to London and will be held alongside the London Screenings at the end of February from next year, 2025.
The move comes after months of speculation and in the sixtieth year of the TV marketplace. News that the decision is confirmed was broken by Deadline.
The event will take place in The Savoy hotel in central London and the neighbouring Institute of Engineering and Technology building which also overlooks the river Thames.
Mipcom in the autumn will remain in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
