Channel 5 has recommissioned Mentorn Media’s police doc Inside the Force for a second series.
The eight-part series follows the daily challenges of front-line policing in Lincolnshire Police’s busiest police station. Lincolnshire is the least funded police force in the country and the series shows what life is really like for the officers and staff at South Park Police Station.
Produced by Mentorn Media, Inside the Force has been commissioned by Adrian Padmore and the Executive Producer is Tayte Simpson.
Adrian Padmore, Commissioning Editor at Channel 5 said: “It’s great to have Inside the Force returning to Channel 5. This series captures policing as you rarely see it, sometimes raw, sometimes amusing, but always emotional.”
Executive producer Tayte Simpson added: “It’s an ideal time to be filming with Lincolnshire Police as restrictions lift and the force has to deal with increasing demands and stretched resources. Based in Lincoln’s new station, we’ll see how the different branches of policing respond to a range of incidents.”
