Rachel Pendered, the co-founder and managing director of corporate film maker Media Zoo, has been named as a Female Entrepreneur of the Year in the Hera category at the NatWest everywoman business awards.
The Hera award, which goes to the most inspirational woman running a business for ten years or more, is part of the NatWest everywoman awards programme designed to encourage women from all walks of life to share their achievements.
Pendered said, “It’s a huge honour to be given this award. There are some fantastic female entrepreneurs out there and they all have amazing stories to tell. I hope the NatWest everywoman awards will encourage even more women to come forward and build businesses of their own”.
Pendered, who was previously a BBC TV producer, co-founded Media Zoo in 2003. The business has three offices in London, one in Glasgow, one in Switzerland and one in the USA.
