Matt Ford has joined Sony Pictures Television International Production in the newly created role VP – Commercial, Digital, SPT International Production, to supercharge the group’s work on creating digital-first original content for streaming, digital, social, and audio platforms.
A commercial and growth specialist with wide-ranging expertise in digital media, Ford previously launched 4Studio commercially at Channel 4, scaled Unilad from start-up to a multi-million pound business pre-sale to LadBible, led digital commercial strategies for BBC Studios, Social Chain, Cowshed Collective, and Vice, and co-founded digital-first media business, CoLabX.
Matt reports into Matthew Justice, EVP, UK & Europe, and will work closely with Matthew, Hannah Smith (VP, Operations, SPT) and President, International Production, Wayne Garvie.
