Manchester’s animation and vfx Flipbook Studio is moving to new offices outgrowing its current studio in Manchester’s Quay Street.
The company is staying in central Manchester, moving into larger premises down the road on Portland Street. The new office provides increased space and also enables Flipbook to offer “improved facilities for our staff and clients,” it says.
As part of the move, Flipbook is expanding its animation and vfx facilities to accommodate work from clients in a broad range of genres, across video games, advertising and TV. It is also increasing its immersive technologies team to cater for a growth in demand for VR and mixed reality productions developed in the studio.
Flipbook’s Portland Street office will also include additional dedicated edit suites and provide full audio services to expand on its post production offering.
The move, which will take place at the end of this month over a two-week period, “will enable us to provide a one-stop, comprehensive, content creation and post production service in the heart of the city for our global client base,” says Flipbook.
