Luti Media (Maxxx, Robyn Hood , Blue Therapy) is launching new high end TV indie, Osun Group, with Supacell and Stay Close producer Sheila Nortley on board to lead its TV slate as Head of Drama and Executive Producer.

Osun Group is led by Luti Fagbenle whose Luti Media has produced music video and branded work for artists including Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Drake, Snoop Dogg, One Direction and brands including Google, Pepsi, Nike, Beats By Dre and Adidas. Under the Luti Media banner, Fagbenle previously produced comedy drama Maxxx for Channel 4 and HULU, reality dating show Blue Therapy for E4, BET+ and Amazon Prime Video, Robyn Hood for Canada’s Global TV and the BAFTA nominated Mixtape.

Osun’s creative team, led by Fagbenle, includes producer Sheila Nortley (Supacell, Harlan Coben’s Stay Close), Tara Ayeni, Head of Development, Aletha Shepherd, Head of Film and Georgia Cassidy, Head of Unscripted.

Nortley takes up the position alongside her work as an independent producer.

Luti Fagbenle said: “Our vision for Osun is to provide the best home for diverse talent to tell their stories, offering the infrastructure and culturally attuned leadership needed to execute their most ambitious projects. Sheila’s outstanding track record and dedication to diverse storytelling align perfectly with our vision. Fresh off the success of the hit series Supacell, the timing couldn’t be better.”

Sheila Nortley said: “This is about collaboration and vision. In an industry that’s become so risk-averse, the biggest risk is not evolving. We’re excited to raise the bar by championing a spectrum of stories, voices, and perspectives, and creating outstanding TV.”
